Frequently Asked Questions About Submitting an RFP
What is an RFP?
An RFP, or Request for Proposal, is a form that gives our sales team the information they need to put together a preliminary proposal for your event. It covers the basics, including your event dates, expected attendance, space needs, and any specific requirements, so your sales contact can come to the conversation prepared.
How long does it take to receive a response after submitting an RFP?
A member of our sales team will follow up within one business day of receiving your submission. For time-sensitive inquiries, call us directly at 717-237-4000.
Is there any obligation when I submit an RFP?
No. Submitting an RFP is simply the first step in exploring whether LCCC is the right fit for your event. There is no obligation to book until you are ready to move forward.
What information do I need to submit an RFP?
The more detail you can provide, the more useful your preliminary proposal will be. At minimum, include your preferred event dates, expected attendance, event type, and any specific space or catering requirements. If you have flexibility on dates or format, note that as well.
Can I submit an RFP for a wedding or social event?
Yes. The RFP form works for all event types, including weddings, social events, galas, corporate meetings, conferences, conventions, and trade shows.
What happens after I receive a proposal?
Your sales contact will walk you through the proposal and answer any questions you have. If you'd like to see the spaces before making a decision, a site visit can be arranged. Once you're ready to move forward, your planning team takes over to begin building out your event program.
Who do I contact if I have questions before submitting an RFP?
Call us at 717-237-4000 or email Jacyn Thompson at [email protected]. A member of our sales team is happy to answer questions before you submit a formal inquiry.
