Delicious cuisine awaits you as a guest (or simply a hungry visitor) at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square, where we maintain several restaurants and lounges that offer some of the best wining and dining in the Red Rose City. Here’s a look at some of what awaits your taste buds with us!
Creative American dishes run through with global inspirations take center stage at Plough, where Chef Ryan McQuillan’s menu draws heavily from the Lancaster foodshed’s rich agricultural ingredients—including bounty gathered at the Lancaster Central Market, the oldest continuously running public farmers market in the country! (You can read more about the Central Market—a stone’s throw from the Lancaster Marriott—right here.) Lunch at Plough includes such delights as a Crabcake Sandwich, Shrimp & Grits, Ancient Grain Bowl, Croque Madame, and a knockout Dry Aged Prime Burger.
A dinner meal at Plough, meanwhile, might begin with a few starters such as our Grilled Spanish Octopus, Celery Root Mac & Cheese, and Crispy Brussel Sprouts served with whipped ricotta, golden raisins, Asian pear, toasted pecans, and maple soy. Plough’s entrées—mighty hard to choose between, we must say—include Olive Oil Poached Halibut, Roasted Winter Vegetables, Red Wine Braised Short Ribs, and Ora King Salmon reinforced with Calabrian chili, black-eyed peas, turnips, and Tuscan kale. You can also opt to go the four-course prix fixe route with our aptly named Plough Feast.
Plough also serves weekend brunch, some of the highlights of which include Red Flannel Hash, Eggs Benedict, Coconut Milk Oatmeal, and Short Rib & Eggs.
For liquid nourishment—besides an array of non-alcoholic beverages—you can choose from wine, craft beer, and specialty cocktails such as our Vibrant Things with its house vodka, and our bourbon- and port-propelled Any Port in a Storm.
The perfection on your plate at Plough is matched by the elegant and welcoming ambience: yours to soak in just steps from the guest rooms and suites here at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square.
Fabulous views of Downtown Lancaster are part of the draw at The Exchange, our year-round rooftop bar and cocktail lounge. Wood-fired pizza and Chef McQuillan small plates such as Grilled Scallop Skewers, Lebanon Bologna Sliders, and Wagyu Beef Hotdogs pair wonderfully with the artisan cocktails and other libations on offer at this bird’s-eye perch.
We also recently opened a dedicated breakfast restaurant: Two Kings, which offers both indoor and outdoor seating along Lancaster’s downtown drag of King Street. No better place in the city to start your day!
